Terms of Service

By downloading or using the Keeso app, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Keeso mobile application and associated services (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are between 13 and 18, you must have parental or guardian permission to use the Service.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Premium Subscription and Free Trial

• Keeso offers a free tier with basic features and a Premium subscription that unlocks intelligent features, higher usage limits, and additional capabilities.
• Premium subscriptions are offered on a monthly or annual basis at prices shown in the app at the time of purchase.
• Each newly created family receives one 14-day Premium trial beginning when the family is created. No subscription is required to start the trial, and no charge occurs when it ends. The family returns to the free tier unless a parent purchases Premium.
• Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period. You may cancel auto-renewal at any time through your App Store or Google Play account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain access until then.
• All payments are processed by Apple or Google through their respective app stores. We do not handle payment card information directly. Refunds are subject to the App Store or Google Play refund policy.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure.
• Upload content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, defamatory, or infringes third-party rights.
• Use the intelligent features to generate content that is deceptive, harmful, or violates Anthropic's usage policies.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the Service.
• Use the Service in a way that could damage, disable, or impair the Service or servers.

6. User Content

You retain ownership of the content you create in Keeso (events, tasks, notes, photos, etc.). You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely to provide the Service. You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to any content you upload.

7. Intelligent Feature Output

Keeso's Smart Inbox and daily briefing features are powered by Anthropic Claude. Output from these features is provided for informational and organisational purposes only. We make no warranty as to the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of automatically generated content. Do not rely on it for medical, legal, financial, or safety-critical decisions.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Keeso and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason with reasonable notice. You may delete your account at any time from the Settings screen.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the effective date above. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
